This is the Debian/GNU Linux prepackaged version of the Auto-PGP package
that was written by Ian Jackson. This package allows you to integrate PGP2
(version 2.6[ui] or later) into your Emacs mailreader (and perhaps also your
newsreader).

This package was put together by Mike Deisher <deisher@dspsun.eas.asu.edu>
in 1995 from the sources he obtained from
	infosys.zdv.uni-mainz.de://pub/internet/security/pgp/utils/emacs/.
The changes were very minimal - merely adding support for the Debian
package maintenance scheme, by adding various debian.* files.
The package was taken over in 1998 by Dirk Eddelbuettel <edd@debian.org> who
rewrote the Debian packaging components.
