This is Debian GNU/Linux's prepackaged version of BibTool -- a tool
for manipulating BibTeX data bases.

This package was assembled by Brian Mays <brian@debian.org>, from
sources obtained from:
 ftp.cdrom.com: /pub/tex/ctan/bibliography/bibtex/utils/bibtool
Modifications of bibtool package for Debian GNU/Linux Copyright (C)
1996-98 Brian Mays and are released under the GPL (on Debian systems
see `/usr/doc/copyright/GPL').

Note the tetex-dev package should be installed on the system used to
build this package.

Changes:
 * added Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance system files
 * provided the correct path to perl in the perl scripts
 * added some missing include lines in source for kpathsea support
 * added `set +e' to configure script to force it to work from a makefile
