This is Debian/GNU Linux's prepackaged version of GNU enscript.
GNU enscript is a drop-in replacement for the enscript program.
Enscript converts ASCII files to PostScript and stores generated
output to a file or sends it directly to the printer.

Enscript was written by Markku Rossi <mtr@iki.fi>. This package was
assembled by Sven Rudolph <sr1@inf.tu-dresden.de> from the GNU sources
available from prep.ai.mit.edu:/pub/gnu/enscript-1.5.0.tar.gz

In June 1997, Hartmut Koptein <koptein@et-inf.fho-emden.de> took
over maintenance of enscript.

Added LibPaper support, so /etc/papersize will be used. Is this file
not available the default is 'letter'. But you can override it in
/etc/enscript.cfg or ~/.enscriptrc
