This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of LessTif, the Hungry
Programmers' version of OSF/Motif. LessTif is intended to be source code
compatible with Motif 1.2, meaning that the same source will compile with
both libraries and work exactly the same.
This package was originally put together by Klee Dienes <klee@debian.org>;
maintenance was taken over by Ray Dassen <jdassen@wi.LeidenUniv.nl>, and
then by Richard Braakman <dark@xs4all.nl>. It was then taken over by
Herbert Xu <herbert@debian.org>.
The sources for LessTif were retrieved from
http://www.lesstif.org/
The libXm and libMrm libraries are copyright the Free Software Foundation,
and are released under the LGPL, with the exception of VaSimple.c, portions
of which are also copyright the X Consortium and freely redistributable. On
Debian GNU/Linux systems, the LGPL can be found in
/usr/share/common-licenses/LGPL .
The mwm client is copyright Rob Nation, Evans and Sutherland, and M.I.T.,
and is released under the GPL plus a few 'provided this copyright notice
appear in all copies'. On Debian GNU/Linux systems, the GPL can be found in
/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL .
The xmbind client is copyright Harald Albrecht, and is released (oddly)
under the LGPL.
