This is Debian/GNU Linux's prepackaged version of Florian La Roche's
minimal console-only getty for linux, mingetty.  It was constructed by
me, Michael Alan Dorman <mdorman@debian.org> from sources retrieved
from the net (sorry, I don't remember where---do an archie search).

Florian has made mingetty available under the GNU General Public
License, which should be available as /usr/doc/copyright/GPL on your
