Comment: Even though the sources of the Python bindings are licensed as LGPL-3+, programs cannot use it under that license, because it links libfuzzy2, which is licensed under GPL-2+. The only GPL-family license that is compatible with both LGPL-3+ and GPL-2+ is GPL-3+. Thus users of this package should consider it GPL-3+. . The repack is necessary, because ssdeep-lib/edit-dist_dist.c is covered under a non-commercial license. All other removals are just convenience to avoid using pre-built files or embedded copies.
