 Upstream sources were in five tarballs, listed below, called "version II".
 The individual tarballs were all listed as "version 2" except for
 data_formats, which was listed as "version 1.1".

 To unpack these you need to unpack Torch.tar.gz, then cd into it and
 unpack the others there.  Each then creates a single new
 subdirectory.  I tarred the result back up to create .orig, because
 the debian packaging system wants a single upstream tarball.
