This POD sample is nonsensical. Its purpose is to test every option
attribute. What are not test here are option rules (mutually exclusive,

OptionParser should not confuse the word item here with the POD items
that introduce new items.

The sentence above is the description for --help.  Note that in --help output,
the default is appended and the period is removed.  OptionParser should not have
any problems with other keywords appearing in random places like short form type
int DSN default etc. Basically, these full-explanation paragraphs should be
(mostly) ignored.

price float (default 1.23).  By "mostly" I mean that there is, in fact, some
magick that can happen in here.  The first sentence of the first paragraph is
treated as the decription for the --help output.

=item --hash-req

type: Hash

hash that requires a value.

=item --hash-opt

type: hash

hash with an optional value.

=item --array-req

type: Array

array that requires a value.

=item --array-opt

type: array

array with an optional value.

Naturally, other POD stuff like C<format codes> and links to other options
like L<"--port"> or L<"--hash-req"> should pose no problems.

host DSN.

chunk size.

The environment variable C<PTDEBUG> enables verbose debugging output in all of the

You need Perl, DBI, DBD::mysql, and some core packages that ought to be
installed in any reasonably new version of Perl.
