pyocd for Debian ---------------- The released source tarball is not suitable for Debian upload - it contains pre-compiled ARM binaries as well as firmware binaries for microcontrollers. However, these are not used by the python bindings, only for usage with gdb or the test suite. Repacking the original tarball ------------------------------ The original tarball needs to be repacked to make the directory name all lowercase. For a released tarball, remove the binaries/ and elf_files/ directories and remove ./src/gdb_test_program/gdb_test.elf and repack with the +dfsg suffix. In the pyOCD git directory, run: $ rm dist/* $ rm -rf binaries/ $ rm -rf elf_files/ $ rm src/gdb_test_program/gdb_test.elf $ python setup.py sdist The ./debian/dfsh.sh script exists in the Debian packaging repo for this task.
