To run WPY demos, just enter them on the command line, for example: wpy_nt demo01.py If you don't specify a Python program to run, the program wpyinter.py will be run. This provides a simple interactive window for Python statements. In Windows, use Start/Run or Program Manager/Run to run the wpy_nt.exe binary. Note that wpy_nt.exe is a Windows 95 and Windows NT program. For Windows 3.1, use wpy_w31.exe instead. For Unix, use the Unix "python" program, and make sure Tk is installed. You can use the Windows 95 or NT "python.exe" program to run WPY demos, but it will create an extra console window on your screen. The Windows "python.exe" program is a console (not MFC) program and WPY works by running a seperate copy of wpy_nt.exe from python.exe.
