This feature undoes the effect of <code><a href="ADD-DIVE-INTO-MACRO.html">add-dive-into-macro</a></code>, which is used
so that the <a href="PROOF-CHECKER.html">proof-checker</a>'s <code>DV</code> command and numeric diving commands
(e.g., <code>3</code>) will dive properly into subterms. Please
