For a string <code>x</code>, <code>(string-downcase x)</code> is the result of applying
<code><a href="CHAR-DOWNCASE.html">char-downcase</a></code> to each character in <code>x</code>.
<p>
The <a href="GUARD.html">guard</a> for <code>string-downcase</code> requires its argument to be a string
containing only standard characters.<p>
