              Advanced Interactive Mudding Enviroment (AIME)
                            Version 0.58 BETA

Getting Started:

The INSTALL file in the base directory will provide direction
for installing the codebase. The installation has been heavily tested
on Debian Linux and Redhat 6.1 using libc6. It has been compiled and
tested less thoroughly on Redhat, Slackware, Caldera, Mandrake, and
SuSe. It has also been compiled and tested on a Windows 95 machine
using Microsoft Visual C++. If you have any trouble, please contact
me at noelg@acm.org.

Code Description:

A description of the code can be found in the docs directory as
code.txt. It will describe how the code is laid out and explain
in some cases why things were done as they were.

Migrating from Old Version

Important! You must run the conversion utility when upgrating to
a newer AIME code version. Instructions for doing this can be found
in the converting.txt document.
