Hier ist ein sed-Kommando, mit dem man den Datentyp herausbekommt:
sed -n -e '/^@PJL ENTER LANGUAGE = /s/.*= \([A-Za-z][A-Za-z]*\).*/\1/p'
Die Ausgabe ist dann sowas wie "Postscript" oder "PCL".
