The ArabTeX package is distributed as one of the following
binary files:
arabtex.zip for PC users:
The ArabTeX package in compressed ZIP format.
Unpack with (PK)UNZIP as a directory tree.
arabtex.tar.Z for UNIX users:
The ArabTeX package in compressed tar format.
Unpack as a directory tree.
In addition, there may be an ASCII file "apatch.sty" with last
minute corrections. This is not a difference file; just put it
on the TEXINPUT path.
Depending on the server there may also be the unpacked files.

The font files are customized for a HP Laserjet with 300 dpi
resolution. If that does not suit your needs, recompile the
sources with METAFONT.
On systems using the 8+3 file naming convention you may have to
move the bitmap files to several directories and to rename them
according to local conventions.
