aub for Debian

It's been almost 10 years since aub has been released by its original
upstream author. In the recent past, there has not been a single place
to go for new versions of or patches to aub and quite a few people
have worked on the software and released their changes.
For a very long time, the version of aub in Debian is 2.0.5 which is
the last version released by the original author Mark Stantz.
While there have been several rewrites and patches, I've tried to find
what I feel is the best version that preserves the old behavior while
fixing bugs and adding functionality.
Since Mark Stantz abandoned work in 1992, Brandon Long picked up the
software in 1997-98 and made 5 patch-type releases of the
software. Brandon's changes were in turn picked up by Avinash Chopde
who made a single release cleaning up the code, fixing some bugs, and
adding functionality in November 2001. I am considering Avinash's 2.1
to be the most recent upstream release of the software (although I'm
sure there are other version of aub out there that may be just as
recent).
With the permission of as many of the previous authors as I've been
able to contact, I have recently taken over upstream maintenance of
aub myself and am not releasing it in deb and non-deb forms.
