.SH SYNOPSIS
make-autoinst-disk
.SH DESCRIPTION
.B make-autoinst-disk

It formats a floppy disk, copies a kernel image to it, and then invokes
.BR update-autoinst-disk (1).

.BR make-autoinst-initrd (1)
command must be run to create the necessary kernel and initrd information.
.SH ENVIRONMENT
.TP
TMPDIR
Temporary directory under which a directory is created to be used for
construction of the ext2 filesystem. If omitted, \fI/tmp\fP is used.
.SH FILES
.TP
.IR linux
A kernel image corresponding to the \fIkernel_package\fP
supplied to the
.B make-autoinst-initrd (1)
command is expected to be present.
.TP
.IR initrd.gz
An initial ramdisk, typically created by
.BR make-autoinst-initrd (1),
is expected to be present in the current directory.
