and committed to pristine tar under the name
automaton_1.11-8.orig.tar.gz
The upstream tarball contains the following non-free (or binary) files or
compiled stuff that we don't like:
dist/automaton.jar
doc/* (generated javadoc)
I thus created a signed git tag upstream/1.11-8+dfsg1 to be used as source
tarball. Git-buildpackage will automatically run git-archive to create a
tarball from this tag.
