Introduction</A>
</H1>
This chapter provides an introduction to Babel's FORTRAN77 bindings. Babel
supports both callers and callees written in FORTRAN 77 so this chapter
illustrates the use of Babel for both. That is, it shows how to use Babel
to wrap the implementation of software written in FORTRAN 77 as well as how
to call software, possibly implemented in any other supported language, from
FORTRAN 77.
