<P>
opaque ia a data type build into SIDL. The word opaque is an
adjective meaning ``not transparent.'' In SIDL, an opaque is
a 64-bit variable that cannot be touched or modified by the
holder. It is normally used to hold pointers that cannot be
understood by the current language or in the current context.
