 MZ Old DOS-exe introduction 
   The letters 'M' and 'Z' appear in numerous places in DOS (memory
control blocks, .EXE header, etc.); the conventional explanation is
that these are the initials of Mark Zbikowski, one of the principal
architects os MSDOS 2.0.
