The package 'binutils' provides the binary utilities for the targets
that are supported by debian. As the targets m68hc11 and m68hc12 aren't
supported anymore, they were removed from that package.

This package 'binutils-m68hc1x' provides the binutils for the m68hc11
and m68hc12 targets. It uses however the same upstream source as the
'binutils' package.
