    <para><application>&app;</application> is an utility to achieve some basic imposition on PDF
    documents, especially designed to work on booklets.</para>

      <application>&app;</application> allows:
    </para>

        to transform linear documents to booklets;
      </para></listitem>
      <listitem><para>
        to reduce a document to put many on one sheet (for tracts for example);
      </para></listitem>

        to transform booklets to linear documents.

              <para>Choose the action to perform on the selected PDF file.</para>
              <para>Available actions are:</para>

                  <guilabel>Produce a booklet out of a linear
                  document</guilabel> – to transform linear documents to
                  booklets;

                  <guilabel>Produce a linear document out of a
                  booklet</guilabel> – to transform booklets to linear
                  documents.
                </para></listitem>
                <listitem><para>
                  <guilabel>Put multiple input pages on one output
                  page</guilabel> – to reduce a document to put many on
                  one sheet (for flyers for example);
                </para></listitem>
              </itemizedlist>
            </listitem>

            <term><guilabel>Copy the same group of input pages on one output
            page</guilabel></term>
            <listitem>
              <para>To copy several times the same input page on each output
              page. For instance with a one page input document, you may
              select<guilabel>Put multiple input pages on one output
              page</guilabel> in <guilabel>Conversion type</guilabel> and check
              this box to obtain several copies of the input page.</para>
            </listitem>

            <term><guilabel>Layout</guilabel></term>
            <listitem>
              <para>Use this drop-down list to select how to dispose input pages
              on each output page. For example, select <guilabel>2x1</guilabel> to
              output a simple booklet.</para>

          <varlistentry>
            <term><guilabel>Output paper format</guilabel></term>
            <listitem>
              <para>Use this drop-down list to select the paper size of the
              output and thus the scaling factor.</para>
            </listitem>
          </varlistentry>

            <term><guilabel>Output file</guilabel></term>
            <listitem>
              <para>Click on the button to open a choose where to save the
              converted PDF file.</para>
            </listitem>
          </varlistentry>
          <varlistentry>
            <term><guilabel>Apply</guilabel> button</term>
            <listitem>
              <para>Click on this button to launch the conversion. A window will
              pop up to show the progression.</para>
            </listitem>
