Generating debian/control
=========================

The debian/control file for boost-defaults is generated from the control
file of the actual versioned Boost package (e.g., boost1.83).

To regenerate debian/control:

  python3 debian/create-boost-defaults-control.py /path/to/boost1.XX/debian/control > debian/control

Example:
  python3 debian/create-boost-defaults-control.py ../boost1.83/debian/control > debian/control

The script converts versioned package names (libboost1.83-dev) to unversioned
ones (libboost-dev) that depend on the current default Boost version.
