The wildcard type, <code class="computeroutput">proto::_</code>, is a grammar element such
that <code class="computeroutput"><a class="link" href="matches.html" title="Struct template matches">proto::matches</a><E, proto::_>::value</code>
is <code class="computeroutput">true</code> for any expression type <code class="computeroutput">E</code>.
