TODO
====

- clean up upstream Makefile.
- translate README.
- make debug configurable at runtime.
- create backup of incoming mail batches before processing them.
- avoid creating files in popen(3), which may cause problems with some
versions of bash(1), which drops privileges and doesn't create
  files as user bsmtp.
- compress backup files.
- think about adding exim to list of supported mailers, if this really
  works.
- add support for zmailer and zmailer-ssl. This needs some kind of
config file support, because the -p option of zmailer is broken and
we need to #undef V8SENDMAIL and #define RECEIVED. This change is
needed in rbsmtp, which isn't able to handle config file options yet
  :-(
- add support for exim. Exim itself has BSMTP support build in, but
I was told, that this doesn't support compression/decompression for
the batches. So bsmtpd support may be a nice idea, but I need
someone who explains me, how to configure exim to do so.
Additionally I need to find a way to avoid the conflict of
/usr/share/man/man8/rbsmtp.8.gz which is also in the exim package.
