To install cassbeam:

1.	you must have glib version 1.2 or higher (but less than 2.0)

	This can be found at www.gtk.org

2.	you must have fftw version 2.1 or higher (but less than 3.0)

	This can be found at www.fftw.org

3.	Run 

	./configure 

	To generate makefiles.  To specify an installation destination
	specify --prefix=<destprefix>, where <destprefix> defaults 
	to /usr/local/.

4.	Run

	make

5.	To install (optional)

	make install

	(You might need root permission depending on the permissions 
	of <destprefix>.
