The Debian source package is not identical with the downloaded
source.  Ferdinand Griffon has done some patching to adapt the
code to Debian locations.  The correct was to deal with this
would be to provide quilt patches.  Since upstream seems to be
dead anyway I do not regard my time well spent to provide this
clean solution.
