About the GPL/SSL clause:

On Thu, 17 Apr 2003 I contacted Olaf Titz about the GPL/SSL licensing
issue and suggested him to add the exception clause:

   > As the main author of CIPE, are you favorable to such a license
   > extension? If you do, all people who contributed code to pkcipe also
   > have to agree.

He answered me on Sat, 19 Apr 2003 and was favorable to the license change:

   > This is what I'll do. Can you give me a pointer to another package
   > with a similar solution, I'd like to get the wording right.
   >
   > To my knowledge there is only a single other contributor to PKCIPE:
   > Lukasz Engel <Lukasz.Engel@softax.com.pl>

He then contacted Lukasz on Wed, 07 May 2003:

   > Therefore I ask you to approve that I may change the licensing to
   > GPL plus the following paragraph (wording taken from wget):

Lukasz answered on Thu, 08 May 2003 (but I was only notified on Thu,
   12 Jun 2003):

   > I have no objections changing the license.
