This package can be tuned to suit your hardware.  In particular, you may
wish to recompile with the option:

   -DBIGBUFOK 

if you have a lot of memory available on your system and you want to
use it to increase the sizes of buffers, command length, macro length, etc.

To see a run-time check of which options were compiled in, give 
this command at the kermit prompt:
C-kermit>show features
Be sure to page down to see the entire features list.
