THIS TUTORIAL IS OUTDATED, PLEASE DO NOT USE!

About ClanLib

ClanLib can run on several different platforms. Each platform has one or more
implementations. For example, on the Linux platform you can choose to run your
program under the framebuffer target, the x11 native target, or the more
accelerated implementations like ggi or glx. As a programmer you don't have to take
this into account.
ClanLib exists of several libraries. There is the basic library, clanCore,
which has most functions in it. If you wish to use OpenGL (3D functions) you'll
need to use clanGL also. Furthermore there are clanMikMod, used for playing all
sorts of musicmodules, clanPNG for PNG images loading, clanLua for scripting
support in the Lua-language, clanMPEG for playing MPEG movies, clanVorbis for
playing Ogg streaming sound, and clanGUI, for using graphical user interfaces.
