NOTE: Development of these tools requires the gettext package to be
loaded on the development machine.
NOTE: This does not include the menu system that comes with the Cobalt
Linux because it is incompatible with Gentoo (file layout, and
something better could be written).
NOTE: There is a Perl module availabe to interact more easily with
these applications, Cobalt::LCD.
