The goals of the Crystal Space memory debugger are listed below:
</P><P>

<UL>
<LI>
Help find memory leaks. In a complex program such as Crystal Space it is
often difficult to find memory leaks analytically. Most often you even won't
observe that a memory leak occurred, unless the leak is quite significant.
<P>

<LI>
Help find situations when a memory block is used after being freed. This
doesn't happen too often, but if it happens, it is quite dangerous.
<P>

<LI>
Help find usage of uninitialized memory.
<P>

<LI>
Help find situations when programs writes outside the bounds of the allocated
memory block.
<P>

<LI>
Help gather memory usage statistics about the program.
</UL>
