The <code class="methodname">DbEnv::get_cache_max()</code> method returns the maximum size of the
cache as set using the
<a class="xref" href="envset_cache_max.html" title="DbEnv::set_cache_max()">DbEnv::set_cache_max()</a>
method.

The <code class="methodname">DbEnv::get_cache_max()</code> method may be called at any time during
the life of the application.
