The <code class="methodname">DbEnv::get_tx_timestamp()</code> method returns the recovery timestamp.
This value can be modified using the
<a class="xref" href="envset_tx_timestamp.html" title="DbEnv::set_tx_timestamp()">DbEnv::set_tx_timestamp()</a>
method.

The <code class="methodname">DbEnv::get_tx_timestamp()</code> method may be called at any time
during the life of the application.
