Hello,

now I ported the patch to tar-1.12, but unfortunetly the old dds2tar is not
working with this. I had to change dds2tar too. Please try the new version:

ftp://ftp.rz.uni-duesseldorf.de/pub/unix/apollo/dds2tar-2.4.15.tar.gz

Please note: Users of ARCHIVE-tapes should use the option '-B 1' in any case.
