Oscilloscope:
RCTRL: show/hide oscilloscope
RMENU: pause oscilloscope
Left click + drag on oscilloscope to move.
Right click + drag on oscilloscope to resize:
Move in Y to increase/decrease height.
Move in X to increase/decrease width.
Drone:
Anchors are droned tones.
Height of an anchor determines drone volume.
Left click + drag to select multiple drones.
q - add drones. press and hold and move mouse to spray drones!
e - press once to edit selected drones:
move in x changes pitch of selected drones.
move in y changes volume of selected drones.
move in both changes both.
press e again to stop.
c - delete selected drones
SPACE - mute/unmute lead voice (useful when you want to work on drones only!)
, - decrease drone master volume
. - increase drone master volume
/ - mute / unmute drones
k - toggle drone anchors
+ - increase trail length of modulating drones
- - decrease trail length of modulating drones
9 - reduce drone handle size
0 - increase drone handle size
Commands:
set-var snap_drones 1 ;# snap drones to notes.
set-var snap_drones 0 ;# drone any tone (default)
Modulation:
j - toggle modulation target: voice or drones
F7 & F8: change FM (frequency modulation) rate in bpm of selected
drones or all drones or voice.
F9 & F10: change AM (amplitude modulation) rate in bpm of selected
drones or all drones or voice.
set-var delta_bpm 1 ;# change amount of increase/decrease of FM/AM bpm
r and t: decrease/increase AM depth of selected drones or all drones
or voice
y and u: decrease/increase FM depth of selected drones or all drones
or voice
Phrasor:
f - start/stop recording phrases
v - play
g - erase all phrases
down arrow - set cue point
up arrow - goto cue point
left arrow - rewind playback
right arrow - speedup playback
[ - decrease phrasor jog
] - increase phrasor jog
jog comes into play when you rewind or speed up the phrase.
Delay:
Click on the Delay button to toggle stereo delay line.
See set-delay command to set delay duration
See delay editor (press 6) to change feedback & volume curves.
Gater:
b - toggle gater or click on the Gater button
Gater button flashes indicating beat shape.
F5 & F6: decrease/increase gater bpm
Octave shift:
z - shift down an octave
x - shift up an octave
F11 & F12: decrease/increase octave shift bpm
Tap bpm:
ENTER: tap to set the BPM of tap target
Set tap target at the command mode:
set taptarget gr ;# sets tap target to gater
;# sets tap target to FM, AM, gater & octave shift
set taptarget {fm am gr os}
set-var delta_bpm 1 ;# change amount of increase/decrease of bpm
Tuning:
; : set key to tone under cursor
n: tune nearest note to tone under cursor
LSHIFT + n: restore nearest note to original tuning
LCTRL + n: restore all notes to original tuning
Ranges:
m: set number of microtones in current range to default
LSHIFT + m: set num microtones in all ranges to default
LCTRL + m: set num microtones in all ranges to num microtones in current range
LSHFT + mouse move : increase number of microtones to right
LCTRL + mouse move : increase number of microtones to left
h + mouse move: change height of all ranges ie increase number of volume levels
Console:
TAB : enter/leave command mode
up_arrow, down_arrow: navigate command history
In command mode, type help to reveal available commands. Or type
help command_name
to get help for a particular command.
Insert, Delete: scroll up, down
PgUp, PgDn: page up, page down
BACKSPACE : delete all text in console
` : rollup/unfurl console
Visual:
i : toggle display of frequencies on notes & under mouse cursor
Movement:
a, d, w, s: left, right, up and down
