>&#13;Oorspronkelijk is dit boek begonnen als een project dat het doel
had het Engelstalige boek "Slackware Essentials" te vertalen naar
het Nederlands. Naarmate de vertaling vorderde kwamen we tot de
conclusie dat het om verschillende redenen verstandiger was
helemaal opnieuw te beginnen en zelf een boek te schrijven,
"Het Slackware Handboek".

>&#13;Het Slackware Handboek is geschreven door Dani&euml;l de Kok
en Paul Beurskens en is vrij beschikbaar onder de GNU Free
Documentation License. Het boek is continu in ontwikkeling,
niet alleen om bij te blijven met de nieuwste Slackware versies,
maar ook om de documentatie te verfijnen en, waar nodig, uit te 
breiden. De nieuwste versie is te vinden op:
