Changes
-------

In October/November 1997, I made substantial changes to the
print and HTML DocBook stylesheets. Most of the changes were
aimed towards modularity and consistency. I've subsequently
added support for most of the features in DocBook that can be
supported with Jade.

See the ChangeLog in each directory for additional information
about the specific changes.

See WhatsNew for changes since the last release.

Installation
------------

See doc/install.html and/or http://nwalsh.com/docbook/dsssl/

Ironically, assertion of copyright is done to make it _easier_
to distribute these stylesheets. (At least one organization,
Software in the Public Interest, requires an explicit copyright
statement in order to redistribute the software.)

The original inspiration for these stylesheets came from the
work of Jon Bosak, Anders Berglund, Tony Graham, Terry Allen,
James Clark, and many others. I am indebted to them and to the
community of users on dssslist@mulberrytech.com for making
substantial contributions to this work and for answering my many
questions.
