<p>When section numbering is turned on by the
<a href="../html/section.autolabel.html"><em class="parameter"><code>section.autolabel</code></em></a> parameter, then this
parameter controls the depth of <a href="http://docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/section.html"><code class="sgmltag-element">section</code></a> nesting that is
numbered. Sections nested to a level deeper than this value will not
be numbered.
