then make the "new" color map part of any visual program. 
To access it, use the  #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18*   Open #!EF command from the 
 #!F-adobe-times-bold-r-normal--18*   File #!EF pull-down menu of the Colormap Editor menu bar. 
Note that saved color maps may also be imported (see Import 
in IBM Visualization Data Explorer User's Reference) and passed directly to
