emil for DEBIAN
---------------

This Debian package doesn't install emil as a local sendmail mailer or
something like this. To find out how to configure such a setup, simply
read the original documentation.

Or you may use emil in combination with procmail not for all users at
your system but for every single user. You may find the following
example ~/.procmail entries useful:

#
# Convert SUN mailtool attachments to MIME:
#
:0 fw
* ^Content-Type: x-sun
| emil -G mime8_user

#
# Try to convert mac-binhex to Base64-MIME
#
:0
* ^Content-Type: multipart/mixed
{
        :0 fBw
        * ^Content-Type: application/mac-binhex
        | emil -G mime8_user
}

You may have a look at the emil home page at http://www.its.uu.se/Emil/
