dump2pov -i INFILE -t TSTART NT DT -o OUTFILE [-color PARAMS] [-geo PARAMS] [-field NR] [-dir NR]
Convert a number of checkpoint files into povray files.
-i INFILE : the base name of the checkpoints
-t TSTART NT DT : first checkpoint, nr. of frames (0..NT), time steps between frames
example:
---------
dump2pov -i chk -t 10 2 50
would read chk_t=10_0.txt,chk_t=60_0.txt, chk_t=110_0.txt
-o OUTFILE : base name for output files, i.e. if OUFILE is frame, the output fiels are frame0.pov,frame1.pov ....
-field NR : the scalar field used for coloring the particles, currently avaliabe:
1: x-position
2: y-position
3: z-position
4: radius
5: id
6: tag
7: mass
8: initial x-position
9: initial y-position
10: initial z-position
11: x-velocity
12: y-velocity
13: z-velocity
-color R1,G1,B1,R2,G2,B2,X1,X2 : field values between X1 and X2 are mapped to
a color between the rgb-colors (R1,B1,G1) and (R2,G2,B2)
-geo X1,X2,N,R : "geologic coloring" initial between X1 and X2 are mapped to N
alternating light brown/dark brown layers. R (0-1.0) is the amount of
randomness in the layer thickness.
-dir 1 : look along x
