euro-support for Debian
----------------------

Euro support does not configure you system automatically. Thus, it will
not depend in a given set of packages. Other packages (language-env,
user-euro-es) already do this. The problem is that the euro-support
package must be able to be used in *any* Debian system, it's just
documentation and testing currently.

Also, please note that euro-test was developed based on the Altgr+E
combination, this can lead to some problems if your language
does not use this combination for the Euro representation. If you
run 'euro-test' be sure to read the documentation available (see below)
and be prepared to reconfigure your keyboard if 'euro-test' tampers
with it.

If you are a spanish speaking user, please take a look at the
'user-euro-es' package and run the 'eurocastellanizar' script.

Otherwise, please read the documents available at
/usr/share/doc/euro-support/ in order to adapt your system for
euro support.

Building from source
--------------------
The Debian source package does *not* include the euro-support-document
but retrieves it from the Debian Documentation Project (DDP) CVS
server when it is built. This means that you might not be able to build
the package without an Internet connection (this is also the reason
for having a cvs Build-Depends). Please check out
http://cvs.debian.org/?cvsroot=debian-doc and
http://www.debian.org/doc/

Also note that in the maintainer's opinion this is *not* a bug
against the latest Debian Policy (version 3.5.6.1, 2002-03-14
sections 2.4.2 and 7.6)
