<p>Dependiendo de la versión del servidor Microsoft Exchange al que se quiera conectar, es necesario que se asegure de que tiene instalado un paquete que proporciona esta funcionalidad.</p>
<p>Para Microsoft Exchange 2007 y 2010 y superiores, se recomienda usar el paquete <sys>evolution-ews</sys>.</p>

<p>Para versiones antiguas de Microsoft Exchange, o si <sys>evolution-ews</sys> no le funciona bien, pruebe <sys>evolution-mapi</sys>. Usa la API de mensajería de Microsoft que se usa también en Microsoft Outlook. Sin embargo, <sys>evolution-mapi</sys> requiere que se instale <sys>OpenChange</sys> y <sys>Samba 4</sys>, y no es tan eficiente como <sys>evolution-ews</sys>.</p>
