This package provides, and allows management of a collection of additional menu
categories which may be used for applications under Gnome, KDE and other XDG
specification compliant deskop environments.

The menus currently provided are:

"Electronics" (Groups all packages listing category "Electronics")
"Hamradio" (Groups all packages listing category "Hamradio")

See README and COPYING files under the respective directories for copyright
and origins of the these menus.

In addition, scripts are included which manage symlinks between the .menu
files installed in ${datadir}/extra-xdg-menus/*.menu, and the appropriate
locations required to activate them on a system wide or per-user bases.

exmenen (Enable a specific extra menu)
exmendis (Disable a specific extra menu)

These scripts are based on a2enmod and a2dismod from the Debian apache2
package, believed to be written by Daniel Stone.

update-changelogs.sh and autogen.sh were copied from the gEDA project. Their
origins are commented inside the scripts, althouh credits are due to
Peter Brett and Ales Hvezda respectively. Both are licened under the GPL.

The remaining build infratructure for package was assembled by Peter Clifton,
and released under the GPL version 2 (or at your option) any later version.
See the file COPYING for details.
