This program is a full-screen configuration of <a href="fmtinit.htm">INIT.SRV</a> and <a href="fmtport.htm">PORT.SYS</a>.<br>This program has its own program-icon, and can be started by double-<br>clicking that icon. Most of the commands are self-documented. <br>You must only follow the instructions. The changes in INIT.SRV can be<br>done without rebooting the BBS, but changes in PORT.SYS will not affect<br>the BBS until after a reboot of the BBS.<br><br><a name="INSTALL"><!-- --><!-- --></a><big><b>INSTALL.SH: <font color="#ff0000">(Only for LinFBB)</font></b></big>
This is a configuration-program for LinFBB. It will configure the most
important parts of the file <a href="fmtinit.htm">INIT.SRV</a>. Mind you, you will need to check <br>the rest of INIT.SRV manually, too !<br><br><a name="FBBSETUP"><!-- --><!-- --></a><big><b>FBBSETUP.EXE: <font color="#ff0000">(Only for DosFBB)</font></b></big>

You must only follow the instructions.<br>FBBSETUP will support multiple language files in same format as ENGLISH.OLH <br>and ENGLISH.MNU if the DEFAULT.OLH and DEFAULT.MNU files do not exists <br>(after a language is selected, the files become the DEFAULT.XXX files).<br>Files normally belonging to FBBSETUP are:<br>FBBSETUP EXE <br>ENGLISH OLH <br>ENGLISH MNU <br>DEFAULT OLH <br>DEFAULT MNU <br>The DEFAULT files may first be created after the first run of FBBSETUP.<br>All files will normally reside in \FBB\BIN directory.<br><br><br><big><b>For all the above versions:</b></big>
If the INIT.SRV file does not exist, you will be prompted to create a new
one. Be sure that you are in the FBB directory when running FBBSETUP.EXE.
If the INIT.SRV is not of the right version, you will also be prompted, but
be careful, as the results could be hazardous.
The comments of the original file are not changed.
