This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of the GNU file
management utilities.
This package is maintained by Galen Hazelwood <galenh@micron.net> and
built from sources obtained from:
ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/fileutils-3.16.tar.gz
This package was first put together by Ian Murdock <imurdock@debian.org>,
from fileutils-3.12. It was later maintained by Erick Branderhorst
<branderh@debian.org>. Certain patches and bug-fixes made by the previous
maintainers have since been integrated into the upstream source.
Changes:
* added Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance system files
* changed ls.1 to note changes in color support (done by earlier maintainer)
* Tweaked ls.1 description of --dereference slightly (due to user complaint)
* Changed german translation file to accept "j" (ja) for yes
* Changed spanish translation slightly (courtesy Santiago Vila Doncel)
* Fixed error in install usage, added -p (preserve-timestamps) option
