    With the simple driver &quot;drv_z42&quot; provided by Alwin Stolk
    one can at least print in up to 1200x600 dpi. There is also
    support in Gimp-Print 4.2 and especially on the CVS of
    Gimp-Print.&lt;p&gt;

    A salesman described the Z42 as identical to the Z52, only
    slower. However, the Z52 driver binary provided by Lexmark only
    printed garbage.&lt;p&gt;
