    For basic printing functionality use the &lt;a

    driver &lt;/a&gt;. For advanced functionality such
    as printer status and maintenance features, use the

    This printer works fine if it has 2+ MB of RAM, otherwise it only
    prints half a page at a time. It only has 384kB by default.  It
    can be upgraded easily and cheaply.&lt;p&gt;

    Noticed Difficulities w/ sending to a Win2k SMB Share from Linux
    for the HPLJII.&lt;p&gt;

    Experience from a user: &lt;p&gt;

    ASCII comes out fine.&lt;p&gt;

    - send eof after job (yes)&lt;p&gt;

    - Fix stair stepping (yes)&lt;p&gt;

    &lt;p&gt;

    Using ghostscript and HP Laserjet driver, pages are shifted up a
    little (1/8 inch).&lt;p&gt;

    - experimentation with margins does not seem to help&lt;p&gt;

    Sending windows jobs via samba works excellent!
